Serious wanted to give up on rapping for Christ as many people around her often said it' wouldn't work out. But a watershed day came in the 90s when she flew to Johannesburg, South Africa to minister with her church at the time. She was at an evening evengelical meeting, sitting in the stadium chairs, waiting for others to minster in song when a reverend called her out and said "you're going to get on stage and sing and rap for Christ." In obedience Serious immediately prayed asking God to anoint her to minister to the young people in attendance. God used her mightily on that day. Wheel- chair-bound individuals were "poppin their chairs" and others were set free to praise God.
Serious has several songs on itunes including the "Yes" song, which was performed in Africa, Dat Doctor, Live, and in the coming weeks will release a mixtape called "Are You Serious."
